The Solís Theater in Montevideo, the capital of Uruguay, was built in 1856 by the Italian Carlo Zucchi. The Solís Theater is located in the city of Montevideo. Although the altitude of the city is only 43 meters, the origin of its name is quite interesting. Built between 1965 and 1967 by Richard Meier, the Smith House originated when Carole Smith, who had bought a property with her husband inDarien, Connecticut, told Meier about the area.
